Seth Godin's "What to do When it's Your Turn"

My friend Holley was kind enough to post a solicit for a book giveaway on her instagram.  Plain and simple, she loves Godin and had the opportunity to buy several copies of his new offering to pass around to friends. I'm one of the lucky folks.

This book is everything an entrepreneur, especially a novice, is looking for.  Advice, affirmation, understanding--it's all here in this magazine-style book that isn't meant to be hoarded, but instead shared with others when you're done.

A few of my favorite quotes from the book:

"If we can live with failure, we're actually more likely to avoid it."

"If you demand that everything that happens be something you are adequately prepared for, we wonder if you've chosen never to leap in ways that we need you to leap."

"In fact, we're capable of creating work that matters only if we're willing to be uncomfortable while we do it."

"Change hurts.  Do it anyway.  It's personal and it matters."

These few are just the tip of the iceberg as far as the genius contained in this book.  If you need a little encouragement to take your next leap, this one is for you, my friend.
